Fomedi has a dedicated Upload course videos page. Use it after creating your course topics and lessons so each recording is attached to the correct learning step.
1. Create the course and lesson first
In your instructor dashboard, open Courses and edit the intended course. Under Curriculum, add the topic and lesson that will receive the video. Save the lesson before leaving the Course Builder. The upload page needs that existing course-and-lesson structure.
2. Prepare the video file
Play your recording locally and check the beginning, ending, sound, and screen readability. Give the file a useful name that includes the course or lesson. The dedicated upload page displays a limit of up to 2 GB. Follow any additional file requirements or errors shown there.
This is a different workflow from a small media-upload control inside another editor. Use the dedicated page for this lesson-video process rather than assuming every upload control has the same limit.
3. Select Course and Lesson
Sign in with an account allowed to manage the course, then open Upload course videos. Wait for the Course list to load. Choose the intended course first; the Lesson field depends on that selection. Select the exact lesson title and check it again before choosing the file.
4. Start and monitor the upload
Choose your file in Video file, then select Upload video. Watch the upload-progress indicator and keep the page open. The page includes a Pause control, which can become available while an upload is active. Follow the status message before refreshing or selecting another file.
5. Wait for processing and approval
Finishing the transfer does not necessarily mean students can watch immediately. Fomedi’s upload page states that videos remain private until an administrator approves the course or video. Wait for the resulting status, then check the correct lesson once it is ready.
If your course or lesson is missing
Confirm it was saved and that you are using the instructor account with access to it. If loading fails or an upload reports an error, keep your original file and contact Fomedi with the course, lesson, filename, size, and displayed message. Do not repeatedly upload the same recording without checking its status.
